It's September....time to get back at it!

Ahhhh....the seasons and rythyms of life!  It's September and even though it has been many years since I went to school, I know I am not alone in thinking that this is the beginning of a New Year!  How do I know that?  Well, the various committees and groups that I am apart of all break for the summer.  Church activities ramp up.  New programs start up re: hobbies and clubs.  It's like our culture has an agreement that the summer is about chilling out and having holidays and September is about shifting to what we want to 'do'.  And that's fine.  Really, that is what we do daily too.  We sleep so that our bodies know what it is like to relax and not worry and then we engage so that we also know how to be productive and contribute.  Both skills matter.

Have you given thought to what you want to be intentionally engaged with this fall?  Listen internally for your inspiration.  Your body will tell you with it's feedback if you are on the right track.  If you are on the wrong track you will feel more tension.
