Is your mind continually thinking about stuff that's outside of your control?  Try taking charge of your mind by listening to sounds you can hear.  Go for a walk and see how many bird calls you hear.  Or notice the different variety of sounds.  Construction. Wind.  Animals.  People.   Do you hear it as noise or music?  The group STOMP made international fame by creating musical masterpieces out of garbage can lids, mops, match boxes and all kinds of ordinary things.  If you want sound to help you shift your mood then try YouTubing 'Happy' songs or 'Calming music'.  Use music to help you get your mind to pay attention to what YOU want it to.  Gratitude.  Forgiveness.  What you are doing is intentionally creating the neuropathways that you want running in your brain the most by your intentional paying attention to sound.

Here's STOMP playing with broomsticks!
