Mindfulness of Relaxation

Ahhhhhhhh.......an exhale!   If the inhale is absorbing oxygen, taking in ideas, information, food, excitement;  the exhale is processing what is useful and then releasing what is not in the form of toxins, energy and the elimination of waste so your body can restore back to a place of peace.  Both matter.  We live in such an 'A' type society that we can be busy working AND socializing AND meditating AND doing our hobbies AND parenting AND travelling AND, AND, AND.....   It can end up being like eating too much at an 'all-you-can-eat' buffet where you leave not remembering what you ate because there was so much.  Relaxing is important.  We get to absorb what we've learned, eaten, experienced.  I am taking the time to do that this week.  I will be at a conference on Walpole Island learning from our Indigenous people's about how they treat complex trauma and then taking a break to spend time with my family and have a nice long weekend.  I hope you are taking time to stop and smell the roses too.......you deserve it!
